highly sought after Cottage was built in 2001
high on a hill in the Valley of Neath famous for
its hidden waterfalls. There are two large
living rooms, a spacious kitchen and dining
room, 4 bathrooms (including 1
downstairs cloakroom with shower room) and ample space for a
large group or family. There is also a

region is popular
with visitors who enjoy the outdoors.
There are plenty of activities locally including
horse riding, golf and fishing and there
is beautiful scenery and walks to enjoy.
The property is located within easy travelling
distance of top attractions which are listed
on our Local Attractions page. These
include the world famous Afan Argoed mountain
bike centre, the Gower coastline and
Mumbles, Dan yr Ogof Showcase Caves & Dinosaur Park, the
Waterfront Museum at Swansea Marina, the
multimillion pound LC complex in Swansea
and the beautiful waterfalls in the Neath
valley. There are also excellent
shops in Swansea and Cardiff. There is plenty to do and
see whatever the weather!
Convenient Location
Hafodwen Cottage is located adjacent to
our working farm so we are
nearby in case of any queries. We are
located in a hillside location just outside the
village of Cilfrew near Neath. We
are within a few minutes driving distance of
supermarkets, restaurants and Neath town centre. The Cottage is
a 10 minute drive from the M4 Junction 43 at
Neath in South Wales. We are about 30 mins
drive from Cardiff International Airport.
